The Aim of the course is to help site supervisors to supervise health and safety on site in accordance with current legal provisions and within the context of their role. They should develop an understanding of responsibility and accountability for site health, safety and welfare of workers on site and be able to recognise that a safe site is efficient, economical, productive and environmentally friendly....
Who Should Attend?
This two-day Site supervision safety training scheme (SSSTS) course is designed for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It is delivered interactively including group and individual activities. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.
Joining Instructions
The delegate must have a good knowledge of written and spoken English at site supervisor level. Photographic ID and the delegates national insurance number must be provided on the first day of the course. During your course, you will be asked to complete personal details which will be submitted to Awarding Bodies with your final results for certification. Personal details including CITB Registration number (where applicable), name, home address, date of birth, National Insurance number, telephone and email address. We will not divulge personal details or learner data to third parties except to relevant statutory bodies these are required for certification purposes only.

Yes - 1 x Multiple Choice exam at the end of the course. Yes - Delegates are required to complete the full course (15 hours) to be eligible for certification. Delegates must attend the days in order. Assessment will be by an end of course examination. The delegate must pass the exam in order to achieve certification for this course.
