Who Should Attend?

The refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the full SMSTS course or subsequentrefresher course and can provide proof of attendance. It aims to bring health and safety knowledge up todate, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace.The course includes a wide range of topics many building on the previous five-day course programme aswell as introducing new subjects.

Accreditation

Successful candidates of the SMSTS Site Management 2 Day Refresher training course will receive a ConstructionSkills Site Safety Plus certificate. This certificate is highly recognized in the construction industry and is a requirement for many job positions.

The SMSTS certificate is valid for five years, after which it must be renewed by attending the SMSTS Refresher course. The course includes a compulsory examination paper consisting of 25 questions selected by the CITB. A pass is achieved by scoring over 80 on the exam.
