Content The refresher course aims to: * improve awareness of recent developments in construction, legislation and health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. * identify measures that will assist the practical implementation of responsibilities established by new legislation, and new working practices. * awareness of, and able to implement all updated health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affects them in their role as a manager * awareness of and able to implement new guidance and industry of best practice * increased awareness of their duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment. .

ConstructionSkills Site Safety Plus certificate The Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS certificate has to be renewed every five years by attending the Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS Refresher course. Course has an examination paper which is compulsory and consists of 25 questions selected by the CITB. Pass is achieved by scoring over 80 in the exam. .
