Who Should Attend?

The refresher course is only for delegates who have previously passed the five-day Site managers safety training scheme (SMSTS) course, or a previous refresher and can provide proof of a valid certificate. If a delegate cannot provide a copy of their certificate, the online card checker can be used to establish if a delegate currently holds a valid SMSTS certificate.

Joining Instructions

The delegate must have a good knowledge of written and spoken English at site management level. Photographic ID and the delegates national insurance number must be provided on the first day of the course. During your course, you will be asked to complete personal details which will be submitted to Awarding Bodies with your final results for certification. Personal details including CITB Registration number (where applicable), name, home address, date of birth, National Insurance number, telephone and email address. will not divulge personal details or learner data to third parties except to relevant statutory bodies these are required for certification purposes only. All paperwork, tests and lessons will be given in written or spoken English and if you do not understand what is being asked of you it s highly unlikely that you will be able to pass the course. If you think you will not have the sufficient English skills in order to pass the written and practical assessments of the course you have booked, then please contact for advice on reasonable adjustments allowed by the Awarding Body.

Accreditation

Successful candidates of the SMSTS Site Management 2 Day Refresher training course will receive a ConstructionSkills Site Safety Plus certificate. This certificate is highly recognized in the construction industry and is a requirement for many job positions.##$$##The SMSTS certificate is valid for five years, after which it must be renewed by attending the SMSTS Refresher course. The course includes a compulsory examination paper consisting of 25 questions selected by the CITB. A pass is achieved by scoring over 80 on the exam.##$$##Attending and passing the SMSTS Site Management 2 Day Refresher training course not only ensures that candidates are up to date with the latest safety regulations and practices, but also provides them with a valuable certificate that can advance their career in the construction industry. With the ConstructionSkills Site Safety Plus certificate, candidates can demonstrate their commitment to safety and their ability to manage construction sites effectively..

Assessment will be by an end of course exam paper. Delegates are expected to participate during the course. This is a two-day course. Delegates are required to complete the full course (15 hours) in the correct order to be eligible for certification..
