Course Information
This one-day Site environmental awareness training scheme (SEATS) course is designed for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects that affect the environment in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. Delivered as an interactive course with the aim of providing candidates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites and covers the environmental aspects of the new HS&E touch screen test....
Who Should Attend?
The course will bring the candidates environmental and sustainability knowledge up to date by giving a thorough overview of the subject, relevant legislation and industry best practice. It will enable them to identify, control and minimise the environmental impacts of their work and where possible identify environmental improvement opportunities.
Joining Instructions
The delegate must have a good knowledge of written and spoken English. Photographic ID and the delegates national insurance number must be provided on the first day of the course.

At the start of each course, delegates will be provided with their own copy of the mandatory publication (Construction site safety E : Environment (GE700E) The course is broken down into 9 learning areas Sustainable construction and the environment Environmental management systems Archaeology and heritage Ecology and biodiversity Statutory nuisance Water management and pollution control Resource management Soil management and contamination control Waste and material management.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Nottingham! Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Junction 28 of the M1, reaching us is a breeze. Simply take the A610 exit towards Eastwood/Heanor, follow the signs for Eastwood, and continue onto Nottingham Road. We offer free parking on site, making your visit hassle-free. While refreshments will be provided, please remember to bring your own lunch, or you can grab a bite from the daily sandwich van or nearby food outlets. We look forward to welcoming you for an enriching training experience!. Drinks/refreshments will be provided, however lunch will not.

Accreditation
Successful candidates of the Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme SEATS course will receive a certificate of attendance from Xyz Training Group. This certificate serves as proof that the candidate has completed the training and has gained the necessary knowledge and skills in site environmental awareness.
For National Training Card members, the accreditation earned from the SEATS course will automatically be added to their account. This means that the candidates training record will be updated with the SEATS accreditation, making it easily accessible for future reference.
The SEATS course is part of the Site Management family of training courses, which focuses on equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage and maintain a safe and environmentally-friendly site. Assessment will be by an end of course examination and the trainer review of the group and individual exercises. The delegate must pass the exam and pass both elements of the trainer review.. Yes - however there is potential for a re-sit on the day.
