Course Agenda

The PASMA Towers For Users training course begins with a comprehensive introduction to the course and its objectives, followed by an overview of the relevant regulations and legislation pertaining to mobile access towers.

The first session also includes a detailed explanation of the PASMA code of practice and a discussion on the roles and responsibilities of a tower user.

The second part of the course dives into the specifics of tower assembly, alteration, inspection, and dismantling processes. This includes a thorough understanding of the manufacturer's instruction manual and the correct use of stabilisers, outriggers, and guardrails.

The final part of the course focuses on practical training. Participants will get hands-on experience in assembling, altering, and dismantling a tower under expert supervision. The course concludes with a knowledge test and a practical assessment..

Welcome to The Training Centre in Coatbridge! Getting here is straightforward. If youre coming from the M8, head northeast and take the B7057 exit towards Shotts/Harthill/B7066. Merge onto the A8, and at Chapelhall Junction, take the 2nd exit to stay on the A8. Continue until you reach Eurocentral Junction, where youll take the 3rd exit onto Glasgow and Edinburgh Road. Follow the A725 ramp towards Carlisle/M74, and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Whifflet Street. Keep going until you reach Coatbank Street, then take the 1st exit at Coatbridge Roundabout onto S Circular Road. After a couple of roundabouts, turn left onto Ross Street, then left again onto Stobcross Street. The Training Centre will be on your left, ready to welcome you!
