Who Should Attend?
This course has been developed for directors and senior managers of any organisational size in construction, civil engineering or allied trades, and therefore this should be considered before enrolling delegates on to this course. Delegates must be competent in English at senior management level. Photographic ID and the delegates national insurance number must be provided on the first day of the course.
Joining Instructions
All paperwork, tests and lessons will be given in written or spoken English and if you do not understand what is being asked of you it s highly unlikely that you will be able to pass the course. If you think you will not have the sufficient English skills in order to pass the written and practical assessments of the course you have booked, then please contact for advice on reasonable adjustments allowed by the Awarding Body.

At the start of each course, delegates will be provided with their own copy of the mandatory publication: (Construction site safety Legal and Management (GE700A) The course is broken down into 6 learning areas Leadership and worker engagement Health and safety law Plan - health and safety within an organisation. Do - Health and Safety plan Check - effectiveness of health and safety arrangements Act - review health and safety performance.

Accreditation
The Directors Role for Health & Safety Site Safety Plus training course is accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board CITB. Successful candidates will receive a CITB certificate upon completion, which is a recognized and respected accreditation in the construction industry. This certificate demonstrates that the candidate has the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill their role as a health and safety director.
In addition to the CITB certificate, all candidates will also receive a temporary certificate of attendance from Xyz Training Group. This serves as proof that the candidate has completed the course and can be used until the official certificate is received. This temporary certificate can be shown to employers or clients as evidence of the candidates commitment to health and safety training.
For National Training Card NTC members, their accreditation will be automatically added to their account upon completion of the course. This means that their CITB certificate will be easily accessible and can be used for future job applications or to demonstrate their qualifications to potential clients. Having this accreditation on their NTC account also shows their dedication to continuous professional development in health and safety.

Assessment will be by an end of course exam paper. Delegates are expected to participate during the course. This is a one-day classroom-based course. Delegates are required to complete the full course to be eligible for certification..
