Course Information

This course, together with the experience gained, will provide site staff a clear understanding of how health and safety affects their role and practical steps to take to ensure safe practice on a construction site.

Who Should Attend?

This programme is designed for all construction operative staff who require an understanding of health and safety regulations relating to construction activities. This course may be used as training prior to CPCS assessments and attendance of the CITB health and safety touch-screen test.

Joining Instructions

Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the course. Delegates arriving more than 15 minutes after the start of the course may be refused entry and charged in full., In addition, should you attend any CITB/IPAF/PASMA or other accredited training courses, please be aware that these certificates can take some time to be dispatched from the accrediting body. However, we will endeavour to post all certificates recorded delivery, upon receipt, as quickly as possible., Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English in order to attend some of our courses., Special requirements – if you have any language, physical or sensory needs please let us know prior to your attendance on the course.

Course Agenda

General responsibilities and health and welfare are crucial topics covered in a CITB Health and Safety Awareness training course. This includes understanding the legal responsibilities of both employers and employees in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. The training will also include best practices for safely working in confined spaces and around hazardous substances.

Merge onto the M1 and at junction 34, take the A6109 exit towards Sheffield. Continue on Meadowhall Rd, then take the 1st exit onto Brightside Ln. Turn left onto Sutherland St, then right onto Leveson St. Finally, turn left onto Effingham Rd, and youll find us on the left at S4 7YW.
