Joining Instructions

Delegate Information/Prerequisites Delegates must bring two colour, passport-sized photographs of themselves with them at the start of the course. Delegates must have sufficient conversational use of English so that they are able to participate in the course, receive the learning, understand and be able to answer the test questions, all without the assistance of an interpreter. Delegates are required to provide during the course personal details including Address, Date of Birth and National Insurance Number. For the purposes of identification, delegates are required to bring with them to the first day of the course photographic ID, i.e. a Travel Passport or Driving Licence. Delegates who do not have either of these forms of identification must contact Purple Cow Training prior to the first day of the course. A digital photograph of each delegate will be taken during the course. This will be uploaded to the National ECITB Database. In order to be provided with the learning and receive any resultant award/certificate/passport or other document, delegates will be provided with an ECITB Register and Data Privacy form. This will be provided to delegates prior to the course for their perusal and then handed out at the start of the course. Delegates will be required to sign and agree to this before the course commences. Whilst delegates are entitled to object to their details being shared, delegates should be aware that ECITB, Employers, Training Organisations and other Awarding Organisations will be unable to verify the delegates prior training and qualifications. Upon successful completion of course, delegates will be issued with a temporary passport valid for six weeks. The CCNSG Passports will be issued to delegates directly once the course processing has been completed. Delegates who are unable to comply with the requirements described above will be unable to start the training. Delegates are advised to contact Purple Cow Training prior to the course start date to discuss any anticipated issues that may prevent them from attending/starting/completing the course. Holders of an existing ACE card will have the opportunity to combine the ACE and CCNSG Safety Passport together. Delegates must bring their existing ACE Card along with them to the course and request the combined card on the first day of the course.

Accreditation

The CCNSG Safety Passport 2 Days training course is accredited by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board ECITB. Successful candidates will receive a CCNSG Safety Passport card, which is valid for three years.

The course consists of multiple modules, each assessed through multiple choice question papers with a pass mark of 80%. This ensures that candidates have a thorough understanding of general safety principles and are equipped to handle potential hazards in the workplace.
